This was an image I remembered from a dream I had after watching one of the debates. The image of the sword in the middle could stand for a lot of different things. Is it that the two viewpoints expressed by the candidates are so far apart that they cannot co-exist peacefully? Or is it that the horror of Islamic terrorism represented by the scimitar cannot be articulated in words?
